School of the Year Award
How to submit & vote for your School
- Students need to prepare a 3-minute video outlining how their school promotes health, well-being and sustainability.
- Students can also recommend a teacher from their school for the "Teacher Appreciation Award" when they are submitting their entry. The teacher appreciation will comprise a brief paragraph (200 words max), outlining why this teacher should get the award.
- We will be accepting entries into the competition until Friday, 10th of March 2023. All entries will be emailed to competition@irevise.com.
- Voting will begin on the 16th of March 2023 for the period of two weeks.
- Voting will close on the 31st of March 2023.

The videos that get the most votes will be shortlisted.
(Votes will be weighed based on the size of the school) - Judging will begin on the videos of the 10 schools shortlisted.
- The winners will be announced on the 17th of April 2023. iRevise.com will liaise with the school to facilitate free access for all students.

- Well-being – 50%
- Sustainability – 25%
- Media and production– 25%
School of the Year Prizes
- 1st – Free iRevise platinum access for the winning school worth up to €250,000 for 2023.
- 2nd – Leaving Cert & Junior Cert iRevise platinum access worth up to €120,000 for 2023.
- 3rd – Leaving Cert iRevise platinum access worth up to €120,000 for 2023.
Regional School of the year
5 schools will win access to Leaving Cert & Junior Cert iRevise per province worth up to €120,000 for 2023.
- Wolf Academy, who run holistic workshops for healthier happier students, are competition partners, providing tailored wellness programmes, including motivational talks and a 6 week "Living Cert Programme" for winning students in the top three schools.
- School of the Year also wins three places on an Irish residential summer school for modern languages, by Euro Languages College, that includes Spanish, French or German options.
- Irish filtered water brand, DEFIANT, is also supplying free bottled water to the winning schools, supporting hydration for health and wellbeing.
Teacher Appreciation Award
The teachers’ prize is sponsored by Cornmarket which celebrates fifty years in Ireland this year. The winning school staff member will receive free car and home insurance from Cornmarket, for one year, up to a total value of €2,500*.

- Closing date for competition is on the 10th of March 2023. The winner of the Teacher Appreciation Award under the iRevise School of the Year Competition will win a motor insurance policy and a home insurance policy paid in full for one year only, courtesy of Cornmarket.
- The car insurance premium will be covered up to €1,500 and the home insurance premium will be covered up to €1,000. If the policy premium is greater than €1,500 for motor insurance or €1,000 for home insurance, the winner must pay the remaining balance.
- The winner must contact Cornmarket before 17th April 2024 to take out a motor or home insurance policy in order to avail of this prize.
- Both the motor and home insurance policy will expire 12 months from the date of when the policy goes live.
- The prize of motor and home insurance is only available to the selected winner and cannot be transferred to any other person.
- The information provided by the winner will be used by Cornmarket to provide you with a quotation and keep you up to date about our products should you so choose.
- The winner must be over 21.
- The judges’ decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
