Recently, you had a bad experience at a hotel. The reception staff were rude, the room was untidy and the shower unhygienic, and the “continental breakfast” that was promised during booking turned out to be day-old boiled eggs. Dear Sir or Madam,
On September 16, I stayed at your hotel for 2 nights in room number 206. As I mentioned to your receptionist upon check-out, I found the accommodation to be unsatisfactory in the following ways:
The reception staff during the check-in process was rude.
The room was untidy and the shower unhygienic.
The continental breakfast that was both advertised and promised during booking was unsatisfactory and, perhaps, unsafe.
I was extremely disappointed at the standards of the hotel, as I had done a great deal of research before my stay. I am sorry to state that I will not be recommending this location to friends and I feel inclined to request a refund for my stay.
I require your response to this letter at your earliest convenience.
